Shaded Traditional Home

This charming home already possessed several design principals essential for a successful landscape.  The front of the home was balanced and building materials were harmonious. The entry had been established as the focal point, so other elements were not vying for that position. Also significant mature vegetation existed on the property and overgrown weedy shrubs had recently been removed.  The homeowners were desirous of a planting plan to complete the front rehab.  One of the few drawbacks was an undersized entry walk.  Though not in the initial client program, a new expanded walkway will be seamlessly installed at a later time.

Planting additions will help reinforce the entryway and screen adjacent properties.  The mix of woodies, evergreens, and perennials ensure year-round interest and compliment the already inviting home.
